P&Z Passes Comp Plan: On to the Unified Development Code

In their meeting of June 18, the Doña Ana County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that the proposed draft of the County’s Comprehensive Plan be considered for approval by the Board of County Commissioners. Now, it’s on to consideration of the latest draft of the Unified Development Code.

This new draft of the UDC reflects comments, clarifications and corrections offered by community members over the course of this project. Each stage of that process can be followed in the Diary posts preceding this one.

The UDC draft’s refinement continues with Planning and Zoning Commission work sessions. If you’d like to contribute to the review, check out the schedule of public meetings on the County’s website for opportunities to participate here.
