You Helped Us Refine the Planning: Let’s keep the conversation going

In earlier posts web posts here and here we invited you to review work in progress on the Viva Doña Ana Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Code. Your suggestions have now been incorporated into the latest version of the Comprehensive Plan for your review.

Doña Ana County Comprehensive Plan | Draft 02 | May 15, 2015 (29mb .pdf)
Appendix | Draft 02 | May 15, 2015 (42mb .pdf)

This is not the end of the County-wide collaboration, of course, or of additional tweaks to our new growth-guiding documents. That process will continue up until the moment the Board of County Commissioners consider final drafts, probably later this summer. Watch for meeting schedules on this site and on the official County site.

We’ll get the next stage of the discussion going during meetings scheduled throughout the County on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, May 19-21. For a schedule of those sessions, go here.

As usual, we welcome online comments and suggestions below. And County staff will be happy to talk individually with anyone with questions.

Thanks for you cooperation at every stage so far. We’re in the final phases of this historic process, so keep in touch.
